Progressive Bingo Jackpots

It’s not just freebie games that pull in the crowds at bingo sites. As many a bingo fan will tell you, there’s money to be found in the glitzy online bingo world, and the progressive bingo jackpots are often the place to find the biggest amounts of bingo money. A bingo site generally has different jackpot options – giving you the chance to play how you want. Most bog standard bingo games have a jackpot amount based on the amount of players. Other popular games have a guaranteed jackpot – where the operator gives away a set amount of money, perfect for bingo fans that like to know what they are getting.

Progressive jackpots work in a pretty simple way – you buy your cards like any other bingo game. Generally, you’ll be trying to bingo on a pattern or you’ll have to cover your card (which is also known as a coverall). The idea is you have to bingo in a certain number of calls to scoop the prize. If no player manages to scoop the prize, then the pot rolls over. Some coverall games work on the same idea, except the pot is a fixed amount, such as the oh-so-fabulous Bingo Fabulous £1million coverall, which plays 3 times a week.

The biggest games will obviously have the toughest game restrictions. So although it’s theoretically possible you’ll be able to bingo in the number of calls specified, the likelihood is a little low. Not to worry though – there’s tons of fun to be had trying to hit a progressive bingo jackpot, and if you do get there, it’ll be more than worth the wait!
